What is vaporization of dry herbs?

Dry herb vaporisation is a process in which certain flowers and herbs (including cannabis) are heated to a temperature high enough to release the active ingredients, but not so high that they burn.

Unlike smoking, which burns and produces smoke containing harmful substances, vaporisation produces a vapour that is much kinder to the lungs and health in general.

This also preserves the natural flavours and aromas of the herbs and releases substances such as cannabinoids without producing tar or toxins. In order for vaping to release the active ingredients that the herb has to offer, it needs to be heated to the right temperature. When vaporizing dry herbs, temperatures in the lower and middle levels are ideal. A light dose is usually between 160-180 °C, a medium dose is between 180-200 °C and a high dose is 200 °C or more.
