CBD pouches are small nicotine-free, tobacco-free pouches you place between your gum and lip for up to 45 minutes. Cannadips tins come in 10 mg per pouch (150 mg per tin of 15), a 5X version at 50 mg per pouch (750 mg per tin) and a THCP variant at 7.5 mg per pouch. One 10 mg pouch equals the Food Standards Agency’s daily guideline amount for CBD from food.
A 2-piece grinder is the simplest: two toothed halves, nothing to clog, but no storage. A 4-piece adds a chamber that collects the ground herb and a fine screen with a bottom chamber that catches kief. Aluminium is light and cheaper; stainless steel is heavier, harder and does not react with plant oils. Pick 2 inch (50 mm) for a pocket and 2.5 inch (63 mm) for the desk.
Match the battery to the cartridges you use: a 350-500 mAh pen is enough for 0.5-1 g carts, 650-1000 mAh suits 2 g and 3 g carts and all-day use; variable voltage between about 2.4 V and 3.6 V protects flavour; a preheat function helps thick live-resin oil; and check the physical fit – wide 2-3 g carts do not sit inside every concealed-style battery. USB-C charging is now standard.
Roll-on gels are hands-free and quick-drying, pump gels cover larger areas, creams are the option for fragrance-free skin care, and balms are thick oil-and-wax formulas for a small spot. Compare the milligrams per container against its size, check for menthol (cooling) or warming ingredients, and always patch-test. Topicals are for external use only.
Divide the milligrams by the millilitres: 500 mg in 30 ml is about 17 mg per ml (1.7%), 1000 mg is 33 mg per ml (3.3%), 2000 mg is 67 mg per ml (6.7%) and 6000 mg in 60 ml is 100 mg per ml (10%). A dropper holds roughly 1 ml and a drop about 0.05 ml, so the FSA’s 10 mg a day guideline is about 12 drops of a 500 mg oil but only two drops of a 6000 mg one.
Choose by milligrams per gummy (5 and 10 mg are the common steps), by extract type (isolate, broad spectrum or full spectrum) and by recipe (sugar-free, vegan pectin or gelatin). The Food Standards Agency advises healthy adults to keep CBD from food to about 10 mg a day, so one standard 10 mg gummy is a full day’s guideline amount.
