What is THCJD and what are its effects? 🤔

THCJD (tetrahydrocannabidiol) is a minor cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant, but only in trace amounts, and is therefore more commonly produced in the laboratory from CBD isolate.

Although it is claimed to be a completely new cannabinoid, information on the chemical structure suggests that this compound was identified as early as 1941 and is known as THC-Octyl or THC-C8.

THCJD is a homologue of the psychoactive cannabinoid delta-9-THC (THC). Homologous substances are compounds of the same type that have similar chemical structures and properties.

According to available sources, it is believed that THCJD can produce very strong psychoactive effects and induce feelings of relaxation, euphoria and excitement. However, for the time being there is very little information on the strength of THCJD’s effects on our bodies and therefore caution should be exercised.
