10-OH-THC

What is 10-OH-THC?

10-OH-THC, also known as 10-hydroxy-THC, is a relatively new cannabinoid derivative that is formed by chemically modifying THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) through hydroxylation and hydrogenation.

Research into the effects of this cannabinoid is still at an early stage, but early findings suggest that it may provide similar benefits to other cannabinoids, but with a milder effect. 10-OH-THC binds primarily to CB1 receptors in the endocannabinoid system and has weaker psychoactive effects than THC.

It is expected that it could contribute to improving sleep, reducing stress, anxiety, pain and inflammation. Keep in mind, however, that there are currently insufficient scientific studies to conclusively confirm these effects.
