Ingredients

• 14–28g of decarboxylated plants per cup of alcohol
• 2–5 cups of ethanol; minimum 75% ABV

Note: Vegetable glycerin (VG) can be a suitable substitute for alcohol. The potency of such a tincture will be approximately half (about 50–60%) that of an alcohol tincture when using the same amount of plants.

Important: CAUTION: THE MATERIALS USED ARE VERY FLAMMABLE. They can cause injury. Never use an open gas burner, propane butane stove, or smoke nearby during preparation.

Preparation

1. Place all ingredients in the MagicalButter extractor and securely seal the lid.
2. Set the temperature to 54°C and press the 4 HOUR TINCTURE button. You can also use the 8-hour cycle for a more pronounced flavor and deeper intensity.
3. When the cycle is complete, unplug the device and remove the lid.
4. Place the MB filter bag in a large bowl or measuring cup. Put on silicone gloves, pour the contents through the filter bag, and strain into the prepared container.
5. Finally, pour the tincture into a dark glass bottle or other dark container and store it safely in a dark, cool place.

Note on the recipe

For best results, do not use pre-crushed plants. Adjust the weight of the plants to your personal preferences. Do not add water or lecithin. Keep your Magic Tincture in a cool, dry place. When stored properly, the shelf life of alcohol tinctures can be indefinite.
