CBD Oils and Drops
What are CBD drops and oils?
CBD oils and drops are made from hemp extract and carrier oil. Vegetable oils such as MCT (coconut, palm), sunflower, olive, avocado or hemp seed oil, or vegetable glycerin are used as carrier oils.
CBD oils are divided into three types according to cannabinoids and other phytochemical content:
- Full-spectrum: includes all the cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes present in the cannabis plant, including a small amount of THC (usually less than 0,3 %)
- Broad-spectrum: also contain a wide range of cannabinoids (CBC, CBN, CBG) and natural substances from the cannabis plant, but without any THC present
- CBD isolate: the isolate is the purest form of CBD, consisting only of pure CBD and carrier oil
CBD (cannabidiol) is a natural compound found in the cannabis plant that has no psychoactive effects, unlike THC. CBD oils and CBD drops can have a number of beneficial effects on psychological well-being, including relief from stress and anxiety.
Physical well-being is not left out either – some of the sought-after effects of CBD oil include anti-inflammatory and pain relief, supporting the body’s natural defenses, muscle and joint health, skin and heart health.
CBD drops are also popular for helping with sleep problems, such as insomnia or other sleep disorders. However, this is far from all you can expect from CBD oils. Check out the other benefits CBD brings.
