THC Vape Battery Blinking? What the Lights Mean
THC Vape Battery Blinking? What the Lights Mean
Blinking lights send users to search engines in panic. Patterns differ by brand, but five meanings cover most batteries.
The common blink dictionary
- 3 quick blinks: short-circuit protection – check the thread for leaked oil and reseat the cart
- 5 quick blinks: button held too long or draw timeout – let it rest
- 10 blinks: low battery – charge now
- Blinking while charging: normal charging indicator; solid means full
- Alternating colours: usually voltage-change confirmation on variable batteries
When blinking means retire it
Blinks plus heat, swelling or burnt smell = battery failure. Stop using, store on a hard surface away from fabrics, and recycle at a battery point. Batteries are consumables; a replacement costs less than the damage one bad cell can do.
